When I started this site in 1996, it was originally dedicated just to the 9C1 (Police Package) Caprice. Since Chevrolet stopped building the Caprice Classic in 1996, I found it neccessary to focus on the last American Made, full sized rear wheel drive Police Car: the Ford Crown Victoria. Ford has agreed to produce the Crown Victoria in the rear wheel drive format until 2009. At that time, Ford will reconsider the market, and make a decision on its fate.

Unfortunately, in 2005, I ran out of time to update and maintain this site the way it needs to be taken care of. Fortunately, I found someone as crazy about police cars as myself. Mike Mangini is a CT police officer who graciously accepted the task of carrying on this tradition. His site is up and running, with all the original vital information, and his own updated personal touch. I will leave this site up for reference, and will add stuff as I can. This site also contains pictures of a few police cars that I have owned or been assigned over the years: a 1994 Chevy Caprice 9C1, a 1987 Chevy Caprice 9C1, and a 1986 Dodge Diplomat. My current daily driver at work is a 2004 MPD Dodge Intrepid. I have also added some pics of my MPD 1996 P71 Vic (retired), my civilian 1993 Crown Victoria LX (sold), my 1999 Crown Victoria HPP, and my 1995 Ford Crown Victoria P71.
