Career Highlights:

 

1983:

Ø     Built first recording studio and Started “CHR Records”, Jackson, MN.

 

1985-1986:

Ø     Started “Carnegie Hall Recording Studio” Nashville, TN.

Ø     Vocalist on Sandi Patti’s Grammy and Dove award winning album Morning Like This.

Ø     Vocalist on Tanya Goodman’s Dove award winning album Promises.

Ø     Engineer on several contemporary Christian albums and demos.

 

1987-1989:

Ø     Launched “Church Street Recording Studio” Nashville, TN.

Ø     Began working as a staff sound engineer at Nashville’s Bluebird Café.

Ø     Engineer on numerous country and Christian records and demos.

Ø     Monitor sound engineer for recording artist Barbra Mandrel.

 

1990-1991:

Ø     Front-Of-House (F.O.H.) live sound engineer for recording artist Marie Osmond.

Ø     Engineer and/or Producer on numerous Country records and demos.

 

1992-1993:

Ø     F.O.H. live sound engineer for recording artist Tom T. Hall.

Ø     Producer and/or engineer on numerous country records and demos.

 

1994-1996:

Ø     Guitarist for recording artist Tom T. Hall.

Ø     F.O.H. live sound engineer for recording artist Tracy Lawrence.

 

1997-1998:

Ø     Began “Sunset Island Music GroupGallatin, TN - a studio, label, and production company.

Ø     Helped Design and Launch audio recording program (commercial music) at Volunteer State College,  

     Gallatin, TN; serving as an adjunct professor teaching audio and recording studio engineering.

 

1999:

Ø     Began work as Audio Producer/Head engineer on Turner Broadcasting's "Live at the Bluebird Cafe",

     a weekly music television series that lasted five seasons (apx. 100 episodes).

 

2002:

Ø     Completed a new recording studio complex for Volunteer State College, serving as construction,

     design and electrical consultant; being directly responsible for Acoustics as well as selecting and installing

     all audio equipment, computer systems, and interconnect wiring.

 

2003:

Ø     Received Emmy award for work as Audio Producer/Head audio engineer on Turner Broadcasting's

"Live from Greens Grocery" two hour music television special Staring Garth Brooks, Keith Urban,

Trisha  Yearwood, Shelly Wright, and more. (Category: Special Event-Live)

 

2005:

Ø     Received Emmy award for work as Audio Producer/Head audio engineer on Turner Broadcasting's

"Live At the Bluebird Cafe". (Category: Audio-Live)

 

Presently:

Ø     Audio Producer for Turner Broadcasting’s “Music Road” TV series, a one hour weekly music show.

Ø     Producing acts for “Sunset Island” label.

Ø     Continuing as audio/recording instructor at Volunteer State.

Ø     Independent audio consultant.

           

Artist credits (as audio engineer) include almost every name in Nashville music active from 1986-present.
