This place feels like home to us. I imagine that we will return throughout the years.I never once felt that we were in a “vacation rental”, every amenity of home is to be found here and yet there are still all the special touches that make this the special getaway in the woods that it is.
I love the winding roads,hummingbirds and trees surrounding the cabin. And of course the warm hospitality! Whenever I speak with Lise or Sue,I feel like I’m talking to an old friend, that kind of warmth can’t be faked.

“During our drive from Atlanta, we were anxious to escape our stress. The closer we were to the mountains, the more relaxed we became. Our only knowledge of the Treehouse were the photos on the internet.It semed like a great place to meet our needs of distressing.
Unsuspecting to us,was the setting of the Treehouse – should I rephrase- the incredible Treehouse.
When we arrived,the walkway led us to the most wonderful and thoughtful surprises that awaited us inside the cabin.
Thank you so much for making this such a special time for us. We are getting online when we get home to book our next escape.

Always feeling pampered, special and right at home, and never wanting the visit to come to an end! “Nothing can compare to the feeling we had when we first arrived at the cabin and found it to be exactly as I had imagined it. The soft light, fresh flowers, chocolate, decor and soft music combined to create a magical atmosphere.
The decks and landings with all the plants are lovely, could it be better? I think not!

It’s a toss-up - Now that we have stayed in both cabins. Both are equally comfortable and cozy, but at the same time, each offers something different. Certainly couldn’t wrong with either one.
As usual, the attention you pay to the small details are appreciated. The chocolates on the pillow ,flowers and everything you do make it feel so welcoming! Hopefully we will be back in Feb – March.

Thank you for building this amazing cabin. It is so magical. We will definitely be back – hopefully in the fall. This cabin has so many amenities that I would never have thought of. It is truly awesome. Friday evening was awesome because when we arrived back from dinner, it felt like we were coming “home”. It feels so much like “home” ,love , warmth , comfort. When we arrived it was awesome to see the colored lights on this awesome cabin. Friday evening we were in the hot tub and it started snowing - it was truly AMAZING ! We love this place as well as everyone else has said too.

I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful this week has been for me and my husband. This cabin has been like a dream. I felt like a kid when we finally arrived here late Saturday night and there was this lighted walkway that drew us into the woods. I felt like the cabin was waiting for us with all the lights slightly dimmed, the fresh flowers, the wine and candles. Just all the small details that I can only imagine about, you had actually made them real. I hope you both realize how you make us all feel when we stay at your home.
I want to thank you for your generosity and hospitality. I can honestly say that I have never received his treatment from anyone but family and you all definitely made us feel that way.
I wish we could have spent more time here, a week is never enough, but it’s a start! Well, I suppose this is goodbye until next vacation. Thanks again for this beautiful and special place.

The presentation here was the best of anywhere we have stayed. We travel extensively and this has been the only time we wouldn't have done anything different than what you gals did for us. Thank you for all the lovely touches, and for sharing the bounty of your garden.
We already have family and friends checking availability for themselves. No better feeling than to recommend a place without any feeling of reservation.
We will be back- hopefully when it snows. Should be fun slipping up the road!
Our time here has restored our sense of peace and we were able to let our joy bubble to the surface after a period of intense sadness.

Ok, you're totally secluded but only 10 minutes from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and 15 from the Great Smoky Mountains National park. You arrive to music,fireplace, wine, chocolates and even more than you dreamed it could have been. We have stayed at many cabins over the years, from Kentucky to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Maggie Valley. This is as close to perfect at answering every want or need!
Wake up to coffee on the porch and squirrels asking what's for breakfast. Enjoy eating on the deck as you listen to nature.After a long hike the hot tub works the soreness out, ok maybe the coolers helped! Reading a good book or thumbing through a magazine is a great way to enjoy the deck or porch. In the evening enjoying a hot cup of cocoa and a good movie using the Bose sound system, brings it alive. I could go on and on.
We just love this place!

Lise and Sue, your special touches were fabulous! The chilled wine, the wonderful birthday wishes and decorations, the chocolates on the pillows, all the snacks- We are truely impressed and very grateful for you making our visit so very special!
We were able to relax and re-connect with nature and each other.
The cast iron skillet was a plus to cook our breakfast! We loved the way you added the outside lights and decorations. Everything was just perfect!
We will definitely return and are looking forward to experiencing the Creekside Cabin too. Thanks for allowing us to take a peek at it as well.

"After 30 miles and many mountains over 4 days in the backcountry,we enjoyed resting our legs,relaxing on the porch,reading,cooking meals together,watching hummingbirds,squirrels,salamanders,2 donkeys down the hill and an unfortunate but necessary side trip to the Sugarlands Visitor Center with hoards of tourists.
Favorite moments-Taking pictures of hummingbirds,bottle of wine on thje screened porch during the thunderstorm,spaghetti dinner at the firepit and the cushy chairs out on the deck and a good book.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the personal touches upon arrival.After 4 days in the backcountry it has been a treat and the moment we entered the house is one that will not soon be forgotten.
We genuinely appreciate you going above and beyond by accommodating us before and after our hiking trip. We are deeply saddened by writing this note,as it means we soon have to return to the "real world" but you can count on us coming back again!
We love this little cabin dearly and it has truly felt like home the past couple of days!
