The soothing hot tub is located on the covered back porch with no neighbors... just the beautiful towering forest to surround you.Incredible views of the forest in every direction and total privacy is finally yours.Just relax and enjoy your forest retreat.Peace and quiet will envelop you and it's your time to wind down and forget about the cares of the world and just drift away.
Relax in privacy without the worry of another cabin being next door. Bear's Trail cabin is private enough that you can get into the hot tub "Au Natural" if you choose. If that is still not private enough for you,why not try our other 2 cabins that have complete and total privacy and seclusion.The Creekside cabin and the Treehouse cabin are located on our 23 acre gated property and will be sure to satisfy those looking for a retreat where they feel as though they are truly alone.

Our Bear's Trail cabin is within minutes of downtown Gatlinburg,the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail,Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies,the Hard Rock Cafe,horsebackriding,fishing, the Nantahala Outdoor Center for whitewater rafting and the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The neighboring city of Pigeon Forge where you'll find Dollywood Theme Park.A beautiful drive through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park will take you to Cherokee,NC and Harrah's Casino or Biltmore Estate in Asheville.
Wildlife Wild turkeys,Pileated woodpeckers and other wildlife are frequently seen in the area around the cabin.The turkeys roost behind the cabin and can be seen each evening at dusk walking around the neighborhood Black Bears are all over the Gatlinburg area and can sometimes even be seen right downtown! You may be lucky enough to see one near the cabin but they are usually quite shy and they will avoid human contact if possible All cabins in Gatlinburg are required to have bear proof garbage cans. It is a shame,but bears have grown accustomed to breaking into improperly secured cans and will feed off the garbage and can get very ill from ingesting plastic and other harmful packaging from food.If you see a bear-PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE BEARS. It is against the law! It is also a dangerous and illegal practice and could result in one of these beautiful creatures losing its fear of humans and becoming a danger to humans. As they say "A fed bear is a dead bear" and we don't want to have a hand in any bears death. While we were working on the cabin,we left an empty cooler on the porch with the intention of putting it in the car in a minute. This small bear couldn't resist coming to check out the cooler. We learned our lesson that day,that they associate coolers with food......empty or not.So please keep food out of your cars and off of porches!

Bear's Trail is not a pet friendly cabin. but our Treehouse cabin (see link below)will be happy to welcome your pet and you'll love it just as much! The Bear's Trail cabin, is located in a beautiful older growth forested setting bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.Huge trees surround the cabin and peace and quiet abound. Our newest addition to Stonecreek Cabins is a real hand hewn Appalachian Log Cabin with hi speed internet, full kitchen, washer /dryer , a Scandinavian built in Log Cabin bed with antique stained glass windows imported from England.
This whimsical bed resembles a larger than life Log Cabin Gingerbread House and the inside boasts a super comfortable king sized bed.You are sure to fall in love with this private and romantic nest. It even has it's own telephone,bedside lights and an LCD TV so you can snuggle up and watch late night TV, movies, streaming NETFLIX movies,ESPN3 sports or even play an XBOX 360 game. The Gingerbread House For bird lovers,this cabin has a wonderful view of the surrounding woodlands and is a perfect place to enjoy the many species that frequent the area. From April to October you can enjoy watching the Ruby Throated Hummingbirds that visit to feed from our nectar filled feeders. The living room has a very comfortable sofa,coffee table, gas fireplace and flat screen TV with a Blu-Ray plater for watching Dvd's, Netflix or a choice of many other streaming video sources. There is also a cozy restaurant style dining booth complete with an LCD TV to enjoy your favorite music or movie during your meals at the cabin.
The cabin was built using hand hewn white pine logs and the walls and cathedral beamed ceiling inside highlight the beauty of this well appointed cozy cabin.
The kitchen
The full kitchen has an electric stove with self cleaning oven,small dishwasher,refrigerator and built in microwave. An assortment of pots and pans,dishes,silverware and glasses for your convenience. There are some spices and herbs,coffee and other items supplied for your use.
