When our daughter was born she was diagnosis with many things wrong at 9 days old. The second day she was alive the doctors told us something wasn't right and she was put into another hospital with a NICU ward and the tests began. My husband and I didn't know the Lord like we do now so we weren't sure what to do or expect.

After 7 days of not knowing what was "wrong" with our beautiful new baby girl (we were told she might even die and to call our pastor and have her baptized, last rights, or what ever else we thought we would like in the event that she didn't make it.) we were finally given a diagnosis. There was one main diagnosis with many things resulting from that one main cause. I won't get into all the technical names with you because it really doesn't matter in the over all scheme of things... What God says is what matters!

We were told the results of the tests and what the doctors felt would occur over the span of our baby girls life: severe mental retardation, profound deafness, blindness, she would never walk, never talk and that the "disease" that caused it would cause scar tissue in her brain over time and she may loss what ever skills she did manage to get early on in her life, which ultimately would most likely result in her being a "vegetable" all her life. We were told she will "never bond with you, make eye contact, receive or give love". Then we were told that they felt we should walk away from this child. That we should put her into a "home" and walk away and never look back because "she will ruin your lives".

We didn't know God on the level we do now, we were in church and had asked Jesus to be our Lord but we had no relationship with Him. We didn't know how to have one with Him, it wasn't taught at the church we were going to at that time and we didn't know any scriptures either but I knew that God didn't want this to be our new baby girls life... What these doctors were saying wasn't what I knew God to be. We had had our pastor at that time come to the NICU unit and dedicate our daughter to God and His service and I knew that we were not going to put her into a "home". We are so grateful for the pastor we had at that time coming to the hospital and giving of his time in service to God and us.

God has since brought us to a church that preaches and teaches the uncompromised Word and we have learned how to pray and receive God's promises into our lives and our daughters life as well as how to pray and minister to others in this world. Thank You Father God for helping us all to grow in our walk.

I didn't know it at the time but know it now all these years later, God gave us Supernatural Faith to believe for our daughters healing and her future in Him in that very moment of her "diagnosis". I looked at my husband and we looked at the doctors and said ok we understand. No, we are not going to put her into a "home" we are going to take her HOME and Love her and Thank God for her and do all that we can for her and do what we need to as we need to.

So what is the next step. Can you do anything else for her now? The answer was no and that they really thought we were wrong and should take some time and think about what we were getting ourselves into. My husband and I both knew what we were going to do... Take our baby girl HOME and Love her! The first song I sang to our baby girl in that NICU was Amazing Grace and yes God's grace truly is amazing!

Our daughter has been receiving healing ever since the time we brought her home. She by passed all the doctors said she would ever do in her life by the time she was 2 and 1/2 and she has never regressed in any way and she never will. I am so very excited about the Greater going on in her.

Well there is much more to her testimony however I would need a book to write it all and maybe one day the Lord will have me do that but for now I love to share with all of you.

Praise You Father God for You are Faithful & True and Nothing is too difficult for You!!! We give You ALL the Glory Father for it is You doing the work in our daughter and we are soooooo very Thankful!!! Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Jesus we give you Glory, we give You Glory, we give You Honor Jesus for You are Mighty and we Honor Your Lordship in our lives!
