St Hyacinth's Cemetery

St Hyacinth's Church was established in 1875
The first known burials in St Hyacinth's cemetery occurred in 1903.
The cemetery consisting of 15 acres was blessed by Bishop Quigley in 1902.
Prior to that members of St Hyacinth's were interred in St Mary's cemetery.
I have attempted to locate as many as possible.
There are many unmarked graves due to missing markers and stones, some are just
unreadable, due to weather and age.

Part One  are records found published in the Dunkirk Evening Observer,
transcribed from microfilm compiled by Lois and Norwood Barris of the
Chautauqua County Genealogy Society

Part Two are records found of St Mary's microfilm and records transcribed by
Lois and Norwood Barris of St Hyacinth's burials

Part Three  are records transcribed from microfilm of St. Hyacinth's church
early years, microfilm available at Fredonia University Reed Library

All records have been cross-indexed.
Please note that it has been a very difficult task to transcribe from microfilm from the 1800's and
that some names may not be the exact spelling. If you cannot find the person you are searching,
it could be possible that it has been transcribed wrong, or missing altogether.
