It is very important to have a proper fitting cradle.
It is designed so the support is distributed with 50% of the weight on
the keel and 50% of the weight shared equally by the four pads.
The pads are adjustable in the event that the boat
is placed too far forward or too far aft. It is important that the cradle
be placed on a level surface.
The drawing should also help you in setting up your
pads, if you have a trailer, and want approximately the same weight distribution
on it.
