Shaker Box Instructions
Steps in creating a diecut shaker box
Step 1: Assemble what you need,
page protector,
double sided sticky foam (I use fun foam that has a sticky side, and I xyron the other side, then cut it with the die),
bottom piece cardstock,
top piece diecut (in this example Wedding rings),
shakies (in this example I used mini marbles, or you could use mini heart punchies),
Adhesive for page protector to top piece (tape runner or photo splits, liquid glue does not hold)
Step 2: Trace
around outside edge of the Wedding rings diecut onto the bottom piece of
cardstock and cut bottom piece a little smaller so it does not show out over
the edge, add any punchart or stickers you prefer, then attach the foam piece
to the bottom piece cardstock.
Step 3: Apply adhesive on the back side of the ring diecut and attach the page protector, taking care to keep wrinkles out.
Step 4: Peel
off top layer to expose adhesive from the foam and carefully add shakies
in the middle, then position the top piece and carefully press down, making
sure all edges are tight. So, from top to bottom you have Wedding ring diecut,
page protector, foam and then the bottom piece with the shakies in the center.
As a finishing touch I put glitter glue where the diamond is.
