CRB-Country Radio Broadcast June 2003



Hey guys!  
The awards last night were awesome.  I got to be close to REBA a couple of times.  
The first time she was walking right up towards me and I just froze, 
I literally couldn't say anything nor could I even snap a picture.  There were 
these two girls that kept bugging her all night that got pics with her, but they were about
 the only fans that got to.  I did get to talk to her...I went up to her table where she was 
having dinner (she was taking some pics with some of the other honorees) and took some pics. 
 As I was standing there I felt this arm go around me and then recognized the voice as the
 man said "Sweetheart, please no more pictures right now, Reba needs to eat"
 IT WAS NARVEL.  He actually had his arm around me...aaaaahhhh....
then I looked at REBA and told her that there was a special
 table in the back that would love
 for her to visit later and she said "Ok" and smiled...
I about passed out again...LOL!  During the dinner REBA got her award and was 
crying because Tony Brown introduced her...it was so sweet.  Then after
 the awards she had to go back into the green room to meet the press
 and take pics with everyone. 
 Then we (all the REBA fans...wonda and i meet 7 others from RebaNet)
 went out and waited to see REBA again.
  The security guard came up and Bernie (from RN) and I asked him to go 
and ask Narvel if he would come over and talk to us he looked over our direction
 smiled and said in just a minute and
 i gave him a thumbs up and then he gave me one back. 
 Unfortuneately he never made it over, REBA came through and was being 
dragged by someone and grabbed Narvel and drug him.  
It was funny...he was trying to pull her back to bring her over 
and whoever was pulling her won because Narvel gave up...
but REBA did look at us and wave and smiled of course...LOL!
