UFO Connections

The year was 2001. The event was the annual Star Knowledge conference, a UFO convention held in South Dakota. I was there to teach a couple of workshops and to connect with others.

I was not new to the UFO phenomenon. When I was only 12, I had an experience with one that was palpable and as my fingers on the keyboard, typing these words.

I was spending the night with a school friend and we were peeking out the window, to watch her sister and her date kissing on the front steps. As we both craned our necks to the left for better looks at the lovebirds, I felt a sensation of presence. I looked back to center, and up.

There in the sky, as real as the window I looked thru to see it, was an impossiblility. A round disk just at the top of a very short tree, just at the edge of the yard. Impossible. Lights flashing around the bottom, very much like the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, though Close Encounters wasn't even made for another 9-10 years.

Oddly, this turning disc defied reality on several levels. There was absolutely no sound. And the lights gave off no light unless you looked directly at them.

Just as every belief system I had about what was possible was shattering, I felt the presence look at me. That's the only way to describe it. I felt looked upon with intensity. I knew they saw me, seeing them. At that instant, the disk lifted straight into the sky, silently and so rapidly that, within less than a second, it was completely gone. It appeared to have gone straight up into the night sky.

So, partly because of my writings about this experience and my work as a healer connecting with Star Nation Energies, I traveled to speak at the conference and was also invited to do workshops there. I met Wallace Black Elk during that visit. I was impressed with his commitment to the children of this generation. He spoke with simple eloquence about the vital need to spiritually strengthen our children; to offer them spiritual awareness. I also met Grandmother Chandra. I had no idea when I met her just what would follow....

I remember standing at the back of the crowded lecture hall and looking toward the front of the room, looking for this "grandmother". What I saw was a very young girl who had some sort of neurological condition. Sitting next to her was a woman I later found out was her mother.

What followed was an altogether amazing type of communication between the two. They held hands and Chandra would squeeze or thrust her mom's hand in a way that communicated to her mom. It was psychic, and the messages were simple, direct, and in tune with my knowing.

I've said for years though that what a speaker says is of little importance compared to what happens while they are speaking. With Grandmother Chandra, I became aware that I could not move. Literally. It was as if my feet were glued to the floor. I had experienced this phenomenon before, when visited by the White Buffalo Calf Maiden energies, but absent was the spine-chilling cold.

The only time I was able to move was when the floor was opened up for questions. I stepped forward and told Chandra that I resonated with everything she was saying and I thanked her. As I look back on that moment now, it seems entirely ego-motivated. I wanted her, and maybe others, to know that I knew about these important spiritual prophecies too. Her patience in that moment spoke volumes.

Grandmother Chandra acknowledge my comments and then looked at me, deeply. Through her mother, she told me I was receiving a lot of spiritual energy. I had no idea how much....

I made the trip back home fine. Then I went into terrible and unrelenting spasms and muscular contractions.

I asked a dear friend who is a healing facilitator and massage therapist, to work with me. I was lying on the massage table when Grandmother Chandra's head zoomed into view, directly in front of my face. Just as quickly as I had clearly seen her, she was gone. She said nothing.

Immediately following her abrupt visit, came the strongest kundalini awakening I've ever had. It seemed to go on forever. Pure, almost indescribable ecstacy. My body was aflame with this tremendous feeling for a long time. I never wanted it to end, which was foolish because I certainly couldn't function with that going on, ha!

After that, as the old saying goes, I chopped wood and carried water. In the grip of something so powerful I always think that it's final. I've ascended. I'm going to quantum leap outta here now. But no. Still struggle. Still deal with issues.

This list was first prepared to serve as a handout to supplement the information discussed during public presentations by Peter Davenport, current Director of NUFORC. It was updated most recently for the 41st Annual National UFO Conference, held in Hollywood, CA, on October 30-31, 2004.

The folks at NUFORCE believe the list will help visitors to our website in searching for the most interesting cases among the approximately 32,000 cases now posted in the database of sighting reports. In some instances, the cases cited in this document are supplemented by additional reports submitted by other witnesses to the same event.
