Improving Overall Health
It is a funny thing I've noticed as I grow older...
Health Tips for Better Living
Better health consists of simple
things done consistently, really and truly. If we can just do a few good things for ourselves during the day, the body is quite amazing at keeping us healthy.
I used to think
it was laziness that kept me from doing things I know I could do to feel better. Now I realize that I just thought it was too simple, too easy. It's really not.
So what are some of the simple, consistent changes I'm working on every day?
watching my water intake, going to bed at a decent hour having let go of the problems of the day and the worries of tomorrow (surrendering them to God), eating healthy (we all know what that is), detoxing when I need it (and we all know when that is - we bloat, we feel sluggish, we know because
our body tells us, we just don't always listen) and having a life.
What is having a life? To me, having a life means laughing, enjoying the company of others, being creatively involved in something we enjoy. It means being aware of and in the present moment, rather than
worrying about the future, or dredging up the past.
