Tiger Talk

Following the end of the early signing period, North Carolina-based analyst Bob Gibbons ranked this year's recruiting class at Memphis No. 5 in the nation. During the fall national signing period (Nov. 12-19), Memphis inked Paris London (F, 6-8, 225, Memphis Hamilton High School), Terry Rogers (C, 6-10, 260, Memphis East High School), Dinno Daniels (G, 6-1, New Orleans West Jefferson High School), Kelly Wise (F, 6-9, 225, Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Choctawhatchee High School) and Aaron Mulvagh of Springfield, Mass. (G, 6-5, 215, Yavapai Arizona Community College). Gibbons also included Jimmie Hunter (Memphis Trezevant High School) as part of that class. Hunter is currently an ineligible college freshman. Gibbons added that the ranking could change depending on who does and does not qualify for academic admissions next fall.

London, Rogers, Daniels and Wise are all considered by many recruiting publications as top 100 recruits in the nation.

The prize recruit is blue-chipper London, who has been tabbed as one of the nation's top 15 rated players by every recruiting publication. He averaged 29.2 points and 13.7 rebounds, while shooting 51 percent, as a junior for Hamilton High last season.

A recruiting analyst ranked Rogers No. 66 and Daniels No. 84 in the nation.
