Born in Central, Ohio in 1968, Vince became interested in music at an early age because he wanted to write COUNTRY songs
Country Music Artist Vince Leggett
Soon he was performing weekend gigs working as a single act and sometimes as part of Duo. In 1992 Vince auditioned for, and won the spot as lead vocalist with "The American Eagle Band" which toured Canada under the auspices of the American Federation of Musicians cultural exchange program.
Getting serious about his song-writing Vince moved first to Raleigh, North Carolina and then on to Nashville, Tennessee where he currently resides with his wife Christy.
As you might expect, Vince spends a lot of time on the road performing everywhere from New York to Texas. " I consider myself very lucky, I discovered my passion early and now it's my job."
Vince sites artists such as Willie Nelson, and Johnny Paycheck as major influences on his musical direction..... Vince strongly feels that you need to believe a song to make it work. "Honesty is the main reason why people love country music, it's why I do." is the way he puts it.
With a traditional flavor to his music Vince adds a bit of western influence to a very 90's sound, putting him on the cutting edge of today's country music.......
