Thanks for visiting my Home Page. My name is Richard Bomar. I hold an Amateur Extra license. Ham radio is the one hobby that I enjoy day in and day out. I am a Volunteer Examiner in the Paris - Henry County area and enjoy helping others to become licensed hams. I am a member of the ARRL, Navy - Marine MARS net and numerous other"NETS". I live in Paris, Tennessee. Paris is located in West Tennessee on Kentucky Lake. I enjoy other HOBBIES other than amateur radio. I am a licensed Private Pilot and love flying single engine airplanes.I enjoy building and flying R/C model airplanes, canoeing on Kentucky Lake and area streams, outdoor photography and also enjoy hunting and fishing in the beautiful Tennessee woods and waters. I am employed by TVA Police (see above link), in the West Tennessee area. I lived and worked in Alaska for a number of years.I worked in security for Atlantic Richfield Oil Company. During this time I learned to love the Alaska wilderness and the Arctic.
