"Raleigh in 2001 -- Get Ready and Get Involved" is an initiative of the Raleigh Community Council aimed at generating greater interest in the community from the citizens and organizations connected with Raleigh. The goals of this initiative are:
RALEIGH IN 2001 -- GET READY
AND GET INVOLVED
· to maximize the effectiveness of the Raleigh Community Council through increased membership in and awareness of its activities
· to increase communication about issues affecting Raleigh among member organizations
· to identify individuals who can/will become future leaders of Raleigh.
To achieve these goals, the RCC will embark upon a high profile, technically proficient campaign that will educate citizens about the history, purpose
and successes of the RCC and the importance of being proactive in preparing for the future of the Raleigh community. The campaign will include informational brochures, the launching of the RCC web site and the formation of a speaker’s bureau.This site is sponsored and supported by State Senator Jim Kyle and the Raleigh Springs Mall
