I was a supervisor at Levi Strauss & Co.
for 24 years . I have done alot of things,
during this time, but the hardest and saddest thing I have
experienced is when they decided to close our facility.
We never dreamed that day would come.
But the big family of people had to split and
and do something else with their lives.
I have spent more time with my friends here
then with my own family at home.
But no one can even Imagine the pain, confusion and fear
that we all shared.
I go into the plant now it is so empty
The smiles, faces and Laughter is gone.
But Oh so many memories I can vision in my head.
That is why I picked this song for our page.

That is something we all have and always will have.
That NO ONE can ever take away.
We know that Levi's has to be competitive.
We are trying to understand.
They have did alot for us to try
to help us with the shut down.
I know this has had to happened all over the
world. But change is scary and it is ok to be scared.

I am Tenneessee Tech taking B.S.T.
I am doing pretty good. Thanks to alot of the Levi
people I am keeping my head above water. There are alot
of Levi people there, Bonnie Reece, Theresa Watkins, Theresa Mathis,
Pinky, Tabatha McKinney, Pam Nave,Annetta Waycaster, and
a couple more that I don't remember their names.
I saw Billy Bailley who said she is gonna join us in Oct.
on night classes we have Robin Merritt, Linda Luncefore, Leslie Bowers, Carolyn Vance,
Edwina Simmerly, Those are who I remember.

She has gotten herself a scanner and is doing a great job with Pictures.

They rebuild cars. Paint them and do the body work also.

Betty had surgery on her heart last week.
She e-mail me and said she did great.
We know God answers prayers for she was only
in ICU for one day and then went to her own room.
She thanks everyone for the prayers.

Kathy is married now that is why I put

who I was talking about.Kathy got a job in
Greenville. She is doing great.

Hey Robin Merritt and Kathy Hartley did
a great job getting the word out to everyone.
There was over 60 operators there.
We had a wonderful time. If you missed it
Hopefully you can make the next one.
Paul Mills and his wife Debbie joined us.
Everyone clapped when he entered the room,
So many memories came to life.
We presented him with his memorie book that
Team 8 bought him. He said you could not of
gotten him a better gift. He signed everyones
books and ended the dinner with a wonderful
speech. He is now playing gospel at the church
that Betty Ford's husband pastors at.
You just go by there on Sunday and you can see
and hear Paul and alot of great people.
