Greenback Fire Department, proudly protects 2,100 people living in an area of 40 square miles. We operate out of Three stations that protect a primarily rual area.Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
Our ISO Rating is class 6
We curently have (18) vehicles,(5) class A pumpers,(5) tankers,ranging from 2,000 gallons to 1,000 gallons.(3) dump tanks, pond and lake suction devices. (2) 4wheel drive brush trucks, (1) Light Trailer, (1) mini pumper with medical supplies & extracation tools & foam capabilties. (1) 100 foot Ladder Truck. (5) support vehicles.(fully equiped with medical supplies and defibulators)
Also have a fully functional Emergency Response Trailer , for search and rescue and other emergency type calls.
Our Fire Department operates on a subscription rate of $85.00 a year. This is for a single house , any other buildings may be more ,, please contact me via email ,, or call the station ,, regarding these charges.
