Mr. Metzgar currently owns Club Platinum Music, and is a partner in Bobby & Billy Music/BMI. The record label that Mr. Metzgar owns Platinum Plus Records still holds the record for having some of the highest charted national hits in history on Independent acts with Billboard, Cashbox, Gavin, and Radio & Records Magazine. Mr. Metzgar was a recent Co-producer of the Black Gospel Group Of The Year and has had many of his songs, as well as those in his publishing company recorded and released nationally that have been charted nationally. He was voted Producer Of The Year in 1993 at the MIRL awards by country radio during CMA Fan Fair week of June ’93. He was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1993 for his outstanding work as a producer for Male Vocalist Of The Year in Black Gospel Music. Winner of ASCAP’S Popular Music Awards as a songwriter for 1991, 1992, 1993. Mr. Metzgar exclusively writes for the Walt Disney Music Company (ASCAP) in Hollywood. Voted into Billboard’s Who’s Who in Independent Country Production in years 1993-1997. Was the top CMA recruiter for membership in the Country Music Association in Nashville for 1993. He has had a song he produced for television, radio, or video in the Hot Country Singles Charts every week for 8 years in Cashbox Magazine, was Voted the Cashbox Producer of The Year for years 1993-1995.
