Warwick Dolphin 4 - Quote from bunnybass when it was for sale there quite some time ago. I think they said it best...... this dolphin was probably one of the very last of the boire dolphins made by warwick, before they decided to go to ovankol to cut costs. i still prefer these boire dolphins for their sound and looks, although these more recent dolphins aren't as nice to the earlier ones (to be blunt, this one pales in comparison to the 1990 boire dolphin also in this archive). the dolphin body shape is one of my very favorites: beautiful, practical, and perfectly balanced for playing in any position - to me it's the best kind of art. this bass also has the terrific jazz/twin jazz pickup configuration which has a ton of useful sounds available. this bass is in perfect condition (it looks brand new) and of course has that articulate, focused sound that warwick is famous for. these basses aren't easy to find, especially used, and while there seems to be a million thumbs and corvettes and streamers for sale everywhere, there's really not a lot of these basses around. this bass comes with the optional (big!) hardshell case from warwick that'll provide plenty of good protection for this bass. $1500
