BRAD RENFRO, 1998 TOKYO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL WINNER

BRAD RENFRO won the 1998
TOKYO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
BEST ACTOR AWARD for
APT PUPIL

Early in November of last year, Brad won the TIFF award for Best Actor for his performance as Todd Bowden. This furthers the theory that Brad is more popular in Japan than America. Brad has visited Japan twice. The first time was in the summer of 1995 to promote The Cure's Japan release, where it was called Friends Forever. Brad again visited Japan in the summer of 1997 to promote another movie of his, Telling Lies in America, called 17 there. Also, in a Japanese poll, Brad was voted as the actor most likely to become the next Leonardo DiCaprio.
