The engine has been punched out to 1186 with Wiseco 13 and a half to 1 pistons.Cams are stock and the carbs are 40mm Keihen smoothbores.A Vance&Hines drag pipe completes the exhaust.We've got a lock-up cluth and MRE airshifter to get power to the slick on the 5 and a half x 18" back performance machine rim.The front end is a Katana 600 with a 2 and a half X 18 PM rim.Ignition is all DYNA.The frame is handbuilt by a NASA engineer(so the legend goes anyway)We get a lotta laughs about our Space Shuttle technology.The bodywork is for a Katana dragbike.
It ran 6.0 seconds@127mph(1/8th mile)on its last good run.We are having a lot of trouble keeping the basically stock head together so right now she's down with a dropped valve.Wish us luck!
