92 KATANA
In these shots you can see(barely) that the foot peg position is moved up and back(about an inch each way).If you look at the tank position,Its moved back as well(about 3 to 4 inches). We'll have to wait and see how this affects cornering and front end push but I think the suspension and swingarm length will overcome this. We've got a 6.25 PM Chicane rim on the way.It will be interesting trying to fit that size rim in the swingarm. We're also going to a smaller diameter rear disk from an 86 GSXR as the current one is HUGE!
The PM wheel came in today!Mike and Chris are going to ROAD ATLANTA and plan to get some more parts and a slick.Right now we are working on the solo rear section. The Main seat pan is together and working and we're starting to "glass".The AIRTECH gastank sprung another leak so we ground the bottom edge and ordered some epoxy resin from FIBREGLAST.
We've dealt with this company twice now and I can't begin to tell you how great and fast the service is.This is THE place to deal with for anything related to fiberglassing.
We put the new rim in today to see how it fit.BAAAMM!!!IT FIT WITH NO MODS!The tail section is coming together great. We got the tail support and taillight mounted today and got the sides and top of the tailsection in place and we are almost ready to glass it up.We put the epoxy resin on the tank in the area we felt the leak was.Our fingers are crossed. We havent checked for leaks yet.
