She stole my heart away
When she was two years old
With her beautifull eyes
And her heart of gold

She was always smiling
She was funny, too
She could lift me up
When I was feeling blue

Jennie was an angel
Sent for a short while
To fill our hearts with joy
and to make us smile.

But her task on earth is done
And she did it perfectly,
And I know if she was here
She would say, "please don't weep."

I loved her very much
For Jennie was my niece
And I was very proud
To be called her Aunt Dee Dee.
