Military Moms Of Autistic Kids

Do not let this page fool you this is for all moms military or civillian. Having a autisitc child can be a challenge plus full of rewards and miracles but being a military family it can be even harder. The moving around and having to start over every new place you go. One of the reasons I made the page is so that all moms not just military moms can find the support and information they need without having to call everybody every place we go. With the links on this page every mom everywhere has what they need for diagnosis and information as it becomes available. The parents of military children with a disability needs the support of everyone the solider command, community and the post or base itself. I have found out that a lot of military places do not have all the support the families need. I hope that the STOMP and the other military links on this page will help the familes find out what they are looking for as they PCS to new duty stations. Remember parents advocate for your child especially military parents. Know the federal and state laws and work with the community to make your child as comfortable and supported where ever you may be. Be sure to visit the miltary webrings at the bottom of the page.

The Social Security link tells parents how to obtain SSI benifits for the disabled child. Most of the military can get SSI benifits if you meet certain conditions.
