(23)Jesus said,'I shall choose you, one out of a thousand, and two out of ten thousand, and they shall stand as a single one.

For many are called, but few are chosen.
Psychological Translation
Your true self (Jesus-your spiritual, creative self)will stand as one, and will not be divided into two (duality), which is the cause of conflict (unconscious vs. conscious). You, being your true self (creative, compassionate, caring, Christ-like) are the chosen one.
