White Water Rafting in Tennessee

Below are photographs taken during our White Water Rafting trip July 1996 down the Nolichucky River. A 9 mile raft trip that took us through class 3-4 rapids, however it rained during our trip and the rapids increased up to 4-5 class.

Class of rapids based on 1-6, 1 being float trip/begginers type to class 6, being monstor rapids for experienced rafters only.

The Nolichucky River Gorge is the deepest river gorge in the east.

It was a Wet and Wild ride to say the least.

During our trip down the river we did stop and eat lunch and rest up before heading down more big class 4 rapids. It was awesome.
