One Lord, One Faith,One Baptism, One God

Sermons

This is site comes by way of years of serving the Lord. Our family was Air Force for 20 years. We got to visit and Worship with many different Church of Christ Congregations throughout United States. We heard many different speakers from various Churches of Christ congregations. Willard Tate, Chris Bullin, Jerry Jones, Dillon Bayes, Shane Speck, Tom Butterfield and too many others to list. I have complied many sermons from various speakers that I have heard over the years, invitations, classes. I have developed this site so as to share what I have learned as a servant of the Lord for 22 years. It is my prayer and my hope that someone will be brought to Christ our Lord through this sharing of God's Word and that God will Bless each and every member of His Church with an abundance of love.

Christian Poetry

Father

Father, with our hearts lets us pray
To you, every single day
With our lips may we speak
Of Jesus Christ to the lost and weak

With our hands let us toil and labor
For Jesus Christ our risen Savior
Let us not look upon the flesh with our eyes
But, upon the hearts of those who pass us by

Give us strength to use our feet
To carry us to those whom you seek
Teach us to listen with our ears
To Jesus Christ, the greatest pioneer

May our hearts be moved
To tell some lost about you
With our hearts and minds, let us be assured
If we do these things with love, eternal life we have secured

Looking Up

If I were going out to move the souls of men;
I would talk of the glories of Grace, and not of sin.
We must look upward, always upward if we hope for a crown,
For we cannot climb to the heights of Glory- if we are always looking down.

by Dale N. Huddleston (my grandfather)

----Lettuce, Corn and Peas----

One day while I was tending to my Garden
I Thought, how wonderful it would be
If mankind could live in harmony
Like the Lettuce, Corn and Peas

They don't get angry with each other
Argue fuss and fight
Just a little water
And their feelin alright!

They don't call each other names that hurt
They don't fight over who gets the dirt
They are happy sharing their space and sun
Probably overjoyed when a little rain comes

They don't spread rumors, snap and bite
Did you hear? The watermelons had a fight?
They are content living and growing together
No matter what the weather

Maybe we should be
Like the Lettuce, Corn and Peas
That don't argue, fuss and fight
Just a little daily water and bread,
And we could be feelin alright!

~Love Never Fails~
-inspired by 1Cor.13:4-8-

Love is patient
Love is gentle and kind
Love is not near-sighted, nor blind

It never boasts
It never brags
It doesn't matter
If your in riches or rags

Love is not rude
It does not say, "ME,ME, ME!"
Instead it shouts out, "WE,WE,WE!"

Love is not easily angered
It keeps no record of ugly words or wrongs
It only cries out, "How can we make it strong!"

It does not dance with darkness
But, only serenades the perfect light
To grow stronger, is its only appetite

Love always protects
Always hopes and trust
It will never just stand by and rust

It will always persevere
Through life's storms of wind and hail
Because..........
True love, Never Fails

~Wake Up! Wake Up!~

Where is thy compassion
Thy prayers and thy fastings
Where is the love?
I sent to you from above

Where are those I asked you to seek
Wake Up! Wake Up! have you fallen asleep?
Where has your beauty Gone
Have you forgotten all my Psalms?

----based upon Revelation chpt 3----
