These are all my ALLIGATOR photos!

As you will see, there’s plenty of gators here!!

This is the gator that is living in the pond near the apartment we lived in. She came across the pond and out of the water to scare Everest and me! She did a great job of it mind you!

I figured she must have a nest near by because usually they take off when you get near them.
And sure enough, a few months later I saw this…

I circled all the babies I could see in this photo.
So one day I went to see all the babies and I noticed something moving in this storm drain. I looked closely and there were 2 babies stuck inside! The water level had dropped way below the opening so they could no longer get out. I finally got up the courage one day to try and rescue them.

I was by my self so these were the photos I was able to take. I managed to catch the first one after struggling a while. As soon as I pulled him out, he started chirping. It sounded so cool! And of course the mother heard and she came flying across the pond and racing out of the water at me! I threw the baby at her and she practically caught it, she was so close! Then she spun around and went right back in the water. The baby swam out of her mouth and perched himself on top of her head. It was so cute! I felt like Steve Erwin! Crickie and she a beautie?

So the next day Patrick and I went back to get the other one out, and we got it on video.

Patrick was a little more cautious then me…hee, hee.
