It would appear that the scene takes place, from where we last left off. The Hurst family gathering has now come in session. Would this be a form of justice..a vindication of past events, or just your normal family outting? With the Hursts, one may never know..

Alright Mother...what's going on?

Yep, you guessed it..the sweet sound of our Television Champion echos through out the small tallered room.

You better not have gotten my ass in trouble again, Cassie.

The rugged voice now heard was most definate the male version of this once clingy duo. The more dominate, yet not as appealing as the younger member, Colton takes a seat, just ajacent to his sister Cassie.

I didn't say a damn thin..... the youngest of Hursts is quickly cut off by the eldest of the family. Enough!!

His eyes were cold and firm as ever. His voice; not scolding, but stern. The two youngsters looked at him with a shallow formation, as both sunk deeply into their seats it become apparent the lecture was about to begin.

Look at you two.. she pauses in disgust What in the hell is wrong with this picture? You two act as if you're married or something!

The youngest of the family looks to her sibling, with the utmost look of disgust upon her face.

Eughhhhh.....

Mom, no offense, but what are you getting at? I know it's not to sit and preach to us on how not to act...because we all know WHO should be the one you talk to about that.

Pipe Down Boy..You're going to listen to what your mother and I have to say, and you Both will sit and like it!

The youngest Hurst smiles over to her sibling, almost in fun of the situation. Her smiles quickly get put in line as the mother of the bunch looks to her with a stern eye.

You both have grown weak..Neither of you deserve to carry on the "New Breed" tradition. You lack the strength, the courage, and the ability to perform as a team. she pauses I hate to admitt this, but Shooter and Roscoe deserve more of a chance than you guys do right now.

Both the young Hurst kids look on in disbelief. How can their own mother say this to them? Could she be right? Was she right....

You're mother is right, Cassie, Colton. Neither of you have what it takes anymore. You two walked into this Federation, strong..and unable to be touched...Now look at you.. he pauses Neither of you can stand the sight of eachother. What kind of teamwork is that?

Both kids lower their head, they knew what was said was true, neither of them had the spirit, the drive, the 'teamwork', but who could they blame? It was not their fault... or was it?

Hey..I've carried on the tradition...I'm not the one who traveled into enemy territory, I'm not the one who's spell bound by some punk in tights, who thinks I have a nice ass.

His face was red, he had, had enough. The once quiet kid, who took the blame for everything, had now opened his mouth.

Colton, that's where you're wrong. his mouth had dropped and his eyes, in shock. ~Did she just say this to me..How does she figure I was wrong?~ Oh the thoughts that go through your mind at times such as these.

Colton, I know you ~think~ you're doing right..but in all honesty son, you are just as much to blame as your sister here is... the once wickked smile of that innocent little girl, turned to such a frown of dissappointment in matter of seconds.

How was I wrong...mother!! Ahh...the age of innocence, what more could a mother want?

Cassie, you broke the boundary between family and enemy. You not only allowed the enemy inside your mind, you brought him inside this family. Whether you chose to see this or not, you broke the code of what 'New Breed' stands for.

Okay, you would think Mother had spoken the truth, but obvisouly Dad had something more to say.

Cassie, knowing you, like I know your mother.. he turns slowly gazing upon his beautiful wife. I believe you know what you are doing. You're mother and brother here, play blind. You see, only because they fear of you getting up and beyond your calling at a very young age. Confusion had now filled the eyes of the remaining family members, as each one gazed upon eachother profoundly.

Long ago, he pauses seems like ages now, your mother was in the same situation. Blinded by the foolishness of one man, it nearly drove a wedge permanately between us.

Is this the part where mom nearly killed you Pop?

No, but it was not long after that.

~Where was he getting at.. what on earth could he be proving to our kids, by bringing up my mistakes?~

Well, you both have heard the stories of Johnny Hawke? The infamous "Shaded One"?

~Okay now he's done it, he's gone and mentioned the man I've loathed for years now.~

Well, it was back in the -W4- where your mother and I actually met. Back then You're mother wasn't the devious little slut...

~ DID HE JUST CALL ME A SLUT!!!~ ~Oh, I know Dad did not just say that...~

he paused while gazing at the three angried faces.

You see, You're mother was alot like you Cassie. Sweet, innocent, and knew what she wanted in life. he paused looking over to his wife that is until Johnny Hawke stepped into the picture.

He was quite the charming type, the ladies man, knew what he wanted and knew how to get it. Your mother was his prize. His golden ticket to sucess, he blinded her with all the attention, and making her believe her sucess was only because of him.

Is that true Mother?

~How could I degrade everything I've taught my children with a truthful response...Oh well, here goes nothing..~

You're father is right. For many years, I was under the wing of a mastermind. He made me believe I was the best thing in the business, made me invincable, but shallow at the same time. I could do nothing with out him, and he made it quite aware noone would have me, with out him.

What a jerk off!!

Indeed Colton, but that's not the end of this saga.

The two kids sat and listend to what seemed to be like hours, to a story that sickend them and their father, as it continued.

You see Cass, what you're doing is the exact same thing your mother did long ago and by the time he has figured out what happend, it'll be just like the outcome of your mother's story. Dead and Gone!

So you're telling me, Cassie has learned what it takes to be a member of New Breed, and I don't?

No, Son.. What I am trying to tell you, is you ALWAYS keep your friends and family close...

and your enemies CLOSER!!

Where you went wrong my son, is that you allowed the enemy the chance to get revenge. While you were arguing with your sister inside that ring, you should have beaten him to a fridged pulp right there infront of your sister's face. Never let your enemies see weakness. NEVER!! It's the price you pay,

to play the game!!!
