XMAS FUNCTION – CHITTERING.
SUNDAY 23rd NOVEMBER 2003.
This function is for VLSVA(WA) members and their guests only.
Our thanks go to Ken and Marjorie Smith for providing the venue for our Christmas get together at 93 Patens Road, Lower Chittering. At 12.00 noon the BBQ will be “flashed up.” Meat and bread rolls will be provided. You are requested to bring a plate of nibbles, salad or sweets. Bring your own drinks.
A “mud map” is provided, and if you get lost, the emergency phone number is: 08 9571 0228.
The cost is $5.00 per adult, and children are free.
Father Xmas will be in attendance. And those wishing to have presents given out by Santa, are asked to provide them and give them to Paddy Peard on arrival.
Children are most welcome, but it is the responsibility of the parents/family to keep an eye on them.
We wish you all a pleasant drive up to Chittering, and a wonderful day of fellowship.

If you wish to participate in the car rally - here are the instructions
Those participating will be required to set their speedo at 00km at Dog Swamp Shopping Centre, Wanneroo Road, Yokine. People living in the northern suburbs can join the rally at the corner of Wanneroo Road and Gnangara Road, and follow the instructions. You will need to take 7kms off the given kms in the following instructions. If you are starting at Gnangara Road, just take 7kms off the given kms.
Start at Dog Swamp and proceed along Wanneroo Road. At the corner of Balcatta Road and Wanneroo Road is -------- GATE?
After crossing Reid Highway, what landmark is on the left?
Continue on Wanneroo Road to Gnangara Road. Turn right here and what Nursery is on the left?
At the 15km mark, what did you spy with your little eye? Passing Lot 42 is popular for what?
28kms you will have spotted a large ----- sign on the right. What is on it?
At the 29km point you will pass --------- Road?
At 33kms turn left onto Great Northern Highway. Pass the 35km reading and a sign appears stating the distance to the Road Train Assembly area ----?
At the 47km mark you will pass the main gates of ---------------?
58kms is the Gull Service Station. Stop and pick up 4 coke cans or tops – if none available, stones will do. Turn right and proceed along Muchea Road East.
At 60kms turn left into Powderbark Road.
63 kms turn left into Patens Drive.
64 kms turn left in number 93. You have HERE for a great day out.
