Meditation

Meditation-Meditation is going into a sort of deep sleep;however, you are still conscious.You should be thinking of nothing when you meditate. Meditation is a way to become focused and centered. When meditating you can find answers to self questions and become more in touch with your inner self. Here are some meditation techniques that i've found to work well.

Zen style meditation- First get in a comfortable position. Sitting 'Indian style' works well. Laying down you might fall asleep. Now close your eyes and start breathing. Breath in slowly through your nose letting your stomach expand. Then exhale slowly through your mouth letting yur stomach return to normal. Pay attention to your breathing till you breath that way for everything. Inhale stomach out...exhale stomach back to normal. Once you've got the breathing down your doing good. With you eyes still closed and breathing start counting down from 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 then go from 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 then 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 then 7 to 0 etc. till you get to 0. When you reach 0 you should be completly relaxed. While counting make sure your are just thinking about the counting...at every less number drift off more and more. While you are in this state you can do numerous things. You can picture you and your energy binding together becoming one. You can ask questions, but be sure not to think about asking them. This might sound hard but when you do it it should be easier then it sounds
