Andy's first opponent in Scottsdale will be Dutchman John van Lottum. Andy should be able to win that first round match, though he should not underestimate the explosive young Dutchman who can play great tennis. But usually this should not be any problem.

Andy won his first round match in Scottsdale in straight sets (6-3, 7-5) and faces Alex Bogomolov Jr., someone he knows from the Juniors. In '98 Andy won the Easter bowl over "Bogie" and a year later the two battled out the USTA Boys 18's Hardcourt Championships in Kalamazoo. That time Alex won. Andy still considers this his toughest loss. And now they meet again.

With a 6-4, 6-3 win over Alex Bogomolov Jr., Andy Roddick reached the QF in Scotssdale. His next opponent will be another American: Jan-Michael Gambill.

Although Andy lost the opening set in a tie break he was able to win his QF match against Jan-Michael Gambill. He will now play Vince Spadea in the semis.

Unfortunately Andy lost his semis match against fellow American Vincent Spadea 7-6(5), 3-6, 4-6. Andy's serve failed him in the second and third set and Andy felt a little angry on himself for letting it slip away. But still, another good performance by Andy. He did reach the semis.

Andy Roddick and Mandy Moore seem to have gone separate ways. The couple isn't together anymore. Both of them are giving no comment on this subject, but it's likely the two aren't together anymore. Which means Andy is single again. Go get 'm ladies ;-)

Andy earned a bye in the first round of the TMS Tournament in Indian Wells. But in the second round he will face Jan Mike Gambill, who he defeated last week in Scottsdale. It was a tough match back then, so maybe it's gonna be a tough match again. We'll see.

Andy defeated Jan Michael Gambill for the second time in 9 days: 7-6(6), 6-2. Andy served magnificent in his first match in Indian Wells. Now he will face Marat Safin in the third round. He might be able to take revenge for his loss in Melbourne.

And there is Andy's revenge. A really good match, fun to watch ended in an American victory. Andy defeated his Russian opponent in 2 sets: 7-6(6), 6-2. Andy will now face Frenchman Nicolas Escudé.

Andy Roddick was able to reach the QF of the Pacific Life Open. He defeated Nicolas Escudé of France in the 4th Round of this Masters Series tournament in Indian Wells. He won easily and hit 17 aces in that match. It looks like he has his focus on the Indian Wells crown.

Andre Agassi and Roger Federer already won their QF matches at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells and they get to play each other in the semis tomorrow. Andre Agassi defeated Guillermo Coria in 2 sets and Roger Federer defeated Juan Ignacio Chela. So that semifinal promises a lot of good tennis

Andy Roddick plays Tim Henman from Great Britain tonight in the QF of the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells. In there earlier matches the winner eventually won the tournament. We hope Andy will repeat history and win this match and the Pacific Life Open.

Unfortunately Andy lost his QF match in Indian Wells against Tim Henman. It was a tight match. Andy won the first set in a tiebreaker (8-6) and Tim was able to win the second set in a tiebreaker (7-1). So it all went to a third and deciding set. Tim just played a little stronger on the big points and managed to break Andy in the 8th game. While leading 5-3 then he could serve for the match and with his second match point the Englishman reached the semifinals. The match lasted for 2 hours and 32 minutes.

Andy's next tournament is the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami. This tournament is one of the Masters Series, which means it's a prestigious tournament. Andy played well here 2 years ago and a last year he lost against Todd Martin and now he's back. He has a bye in the first round and will face either Slovakia's Karol Beck or Romenia's Victor Hanescu in the second round.

Andy Roddick is playing a charity event in Tampa, Florida tonight at the St. Pete Times Forum with players like Jim Courier, James Blake, Jennifer Capriati, Sesil Karatancheva & Monica Seles. Next wednesday the TMS Miami starts and he will be there to attend that tournament.

Andy Roddick was voted Player of the Year 2003 and that way he won an ATP Award.

Andy will play Karol Beck in the 2nd round of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami. Beck just defeated Hanescu: 6-1, 6-3. This is the second TMS tournament of the year and Andy reached the QF last week at the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells, maybe he can do better here. His draw doesn't look that bad.

Andy won his 2nd round match against Karol Beck easily. (6-2, 6-4). His opponent in the next round will be Jonas Björkman, to whom Andy lost earlier this year in Asia.

In the 3rd round of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami Andy had a tough match against Jonas Björkman but he won in 3 sets: 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. So Andy is through to the last 16 in Key Biscane. He'll now play Argentina's Guillermo Canas who defeated Xavier Malisse from Belgium.

Andy Roddick won his match in the 4th round in Miami at the Nasdaq-100 Open against Argentina's Guillermo Canas 6-3, 6-3. Andy reached the QF in Key Biscane and will face former world number one, Carlos Moya from Spain.
