| Wheels are a critical part to a car. Every car
has to have a set of wheels. So why not have a nice set? Many companies feel that the change of
wheels is a very attractive upgrade to any car. Most Honda civics come with a 14 inch wheel size
stock; however, every company produces wheels that are much bigger. Aftermarket wheels usually
come in all shapes and sizes. The most common sizes for an import car are 15, 16, and 17 inch
wheels. It allows the driver to express himself far more than the stock wheels allow. There
are many different colors as can be been seen in the diagram. Each wheel is characterized for
a different purpose. The chrome wheel is meant for the shine when driving and at stand still.
The polished aluminum is for someone less focused on looks and more about the performance of
the car. Aluminum is a little lighter than chrome so putting chrome wheels on your car way
look nice, but at the cost of acceleration. For a pure race spirit, companies invented an
extremely light weight rim that way not look as nice as other wheels but it performs far better.
