This website is focused on tuning a Honda civic; however, that does not mean that the
principles will not work on a different car other than a Honda. In fact certain cars parts
are interchangeable. That means that certain parts for one car are not specific for only
that car. Most car parts are specific for only one car but some parts are not.
There are three major areas in which cars can easily be modified. I will save you the exact details since it can get pretty confusing at first glance. The first major area that every car is rated on is the performance of the engine. This is called Horse Power, or for short Hp. The next major area is actually how the car looks. This is usually what a person first looks at when they see a car. The last key area in which a car is rated on is its suspension. Another word for suspension would be safety when driving. The suspension on a car is made up a few key categories that allow a car to not only corner better but to make the car come to a complete stop as well.
