Noakes was born, as most were, into the Mandalore culture. His lineage is traced all the way back to one of the founding fathers of the first Mandalorian clans, Bodo Landcrawler of the Landcrawler tribe. Noakes, although in training through most of his life, officially joined the ranks at age 22. As an acting squad leader he led the Landcrawlers, a clan known for its savage ferocity during battle, to many victories including a decisive battle against the Jedi, in which he led a charge of only two hundred battletorn Mandalores into a fray with a thousand plus Republic troops and many Jedi. Sadly, Noakes was later killed at the Battle of the Grazing Field in a last stand against the Jedi where shortly after, the Mandalores surrendered.
