Third Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment Association (Old Faithful) Incorporated consists of members who have served in 3 RAR at any time or people who have an interest in the battalion, maybe their father, brother or other relatives who may have served in 3 RAR, as well as members attached to 3 RAR on active service and Ex sister Battalions in 27 Com Inf Brigade, 28 British Com Inf Brigade, 1 Com Div and 1 ATF. We are an active association with members and branches in all states as well as members in New Zealand, United Kingdom, America and Canada. Our National Patron is General Sir Francis Hassett AC KBE CB DSO MVO (Retd). Our principal officers are President/ Secretary Ron Perkins, Vice President Alexander Bates, Treasurer John Venning and Editor Pat Cannard. The headquarters at the present time are situated in Brisbane Australia, the committee consists of 12 members and our mission is to help members in any way we can. The Memorial Walk at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane is now complete, but we are assisting with the upkeep of the memorial walk.
