Welcome to The Way

So what is the way?
This is a website for you to find as a place of help and for you to see the real Way. You saw in the verse earlier that Jesus said he was the way. “The way” was also a term used by people in the times of the earlier church used instead of the term Christianity. So basically, if you are a part of “the way” you are a Christian. Do you feel like you are missing something in your life? Give Christianity a try.
So what did this Jesus do for me? I know Christianity is following Christ. Why should I follow him?
OK, so how do I become a part of the way? I want to know Jesus. How do I “accept” Jesus?
(If you look in Romans 10:9 in the Bible, it tells us how to become saved. Being “saved” means that you have Jesus in your life. We are saved from our sins. Romans 10:9 says: “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”) Obviously if you prayed a little something like the above prayer, you did what was described in Romans 10:9.
Congratrulations! You also have to really mean this when you pray it. When you pray to God, you are talking to him so just speak from your heart.
OK, now I have accepted him into my life. What do I do now?
One of the best things you should do first is to tell someone.(Christian friend, parent, youth pastor, pastor) Next, I would recommend reading the Bible every day. You might think this is a big hassle, but it’s not. I used to not read my Bible very well but I am now and it is easy to find time if you really want to. It is very important to read the Bible. The Bible is God’s word, and he can speak to us through the Bible. I would start in one of the books of Matthew, Mark, or John. It is also a good idea to find a church nearby to start attending. You can also find a link further down the page that goes to an essay I wrote for an English class. It will also help you to see what all Christianity it about.
