*June 23, 2003
We're in college! And it's a totally different feeling... A whole new environment, new uniform, new CR scent, new corridors, new canteen... new friends, new teachers to laugh at (but learn so much), new experiences, new trials... It is certainly a whole new chapter of our lives. College is a stepping stone for us to reach our dreams - what exactly do we aim to be? How do we intend to make some bucks on our 20's? Where are we going? Where are YOU going? Maybe you still haven't reached that state of decision. But guys, it is important that we finally realize that we have come this far - we're not kids anymore. We need to make decisions - not ordinary ones but long-lasting ones that will eventually lead our lives somewhere. But enough of lectures. I would just like to share something that I realized lately.
First day in UST - walang prof. Bad trip. Pero yes, walang class! Augustinian reunion in front of the main building of the oldest Catholic University in Asia! The following days, I got to meet some new friends. Lam nyo guys kung ano lagi ang first question nila? "From what school ka?" "Saan ka galing?" "Where yung school mo before?". Many questions... but it leads me to one answer - "Colegio San Agustin Makati!"
Next few days, I got to meet more new friends. Merong galing Chinese School, galing Angeles, Pampangga, pati galing Cagayan Valley meron akong classmate! We get to talk about our previous schools - ano ba yung mga activities nyo dun? happy ba? marami bang cute (hehe!)? At sa tuwing turn ko na magkwento, sobrang I feel this sense of pride na... alam mo yun, it's feels great to be an Augustinian? When you find yourself talking about CSA - kahit yung little things: 1) Yung ating canteen na sobrang haba 2) ACP Encampment/Training 3) Retreats 4) Cheering Competition 5) Songfest 6) Music Appreciation 7) Clean and Clear Facial Wash sample sa girls CR 8) Yung vanity mirror sa CR 9) Yung sobrang init na classroom (na aircon na ngayon... UNFAIR!) 10) Yung Celeron computers sa lab 11) Cheese Dip 12) Nestea na may black beads sa ilalim 13) Lunch table 14) Harry Potter (Sinong may Book 5?! I beg you!) 15) Yung reaction natin when we hear the word "boring"... things like that. Sobrang amused na amused sila about our activities sa school. Every time na nagkkwento ako, narealize ko at nagssink-in sa akin how much CSA has helped in building me to the person I am right now. Yung environment na yun made me feel so welcomed and gave me the chance to meet really good people.
Why am I telling these things to you? Kasi naman... I miss you guys na! I miss CSA! I miss all the fun times we have had. Kasi, UST's turning me to a freaking geek! 5 hours Chemistry straight! Kaya nyo yun? Ay, sobra as in... Ang laking tulong ni Ms. Claudio to me.
Ahem, yung point ko lang, eto - - - We should learn to look back and let us not be afraid to say "I'm proud to be an Augustinian!". Kahit we are still in the process of adapting to our new university (like I am now... na-cculture shock ako. Sobrang aral ng aral yung mga classmates ko every morning at ang ingay-ingay ko daw?! Ouch!), we should always keep our memories in our hearts na once in our lives, I entered this school - it molded me to what I am now kaya I am me. And we owe that to only one place in the world = CSA!

God is great, alam nyo yan. No one's greater than Him. Saka don't stare at the screen while the picture is loading. It's really freaky, baka magulat kayo, ok Joa? January na, ang bilis no? Parang kailan lang nakatapos tayong third year, tapos ngayon gra-graduate na tayong CSA. AYOKO PA! WAAAH! Anyway, salamat dun sa mga nagbigay saking regalo, at dun sa mga hindi, HMP! Bahala kayo... joke. And thanks to those who signed the guestbook, at least nagiging functional na website natin. Grabe, I can't believe na over 200 visitors na nakapunta dito (or over 200 times na napuntahan to... just the same!)! Applause! Sana I can push through with this kahit graduate na tayo para at least meron tayong communication when the time comes na magkahiwa-hiwalay na tayo.

Lupit ng theme for the month no? WIRED... shit, astig! (okay fine, ang babaw...) Wag kayong mag-alala, hindi sira monitor nyo, monochromatic talaga design nito. Wala lang, parang trip ko ngayon yung hindi colorful. Pero home page lang binago ko, yung mga pictures colored parin. Speaking of pictures, may mga pictures pala ko dito noong Christmas Songfest Elims pati 1I reunion kasi diba impractical kung gagawa pa kong separate site for that. Yan, la na kong masabi. Sobrang nakaka-obsess nang i-update tong site na to, lakas nyo kasi sakin eh!

*December 25, 2002 Updated new link: SONGFEST PICTURES AND 1I REUNION click here. Bad trip si Miss Ekid! Di tayo pinayagang magperform sa Songfest Finals Intermission. The reason? "That's already a Songfest, then you're going to sing again? What's the relevance?" Like duh, relevance your face! Okay ba intermission namin nina Gian and Rejie? Yung tinugtog namin "The Hollow" by A Perfect Circle. Yung ibang kasama namin (in case you're wondering) sina Michael Canilao from 4G (vocals) and Robbie Dimaliwat from 3E (bass).
*December 3, 2002 Okay guys, from now on, this is going to be our new website! Yung dati kasi, nagkakaroon ng picture loading problems and if I try debugging, naghahang yung whole thing so ulit nanaman. Yung pictures kasi, some of them exceeds 500 KB so it really takes time to download correctly and sometimes, it leads to loading errors and stuff. Pero eto okay na. I have compressed some picture files so they can be loaded correctly. Ayos ba yung banner natin? Hehehe, lupit no? (grins...) Guys, alam nyo ba ba na magpeperform tayo sa Songfest finals? We're going to sing "Ang Pasko ay Sumapit" ulit as an intermission number sa Level 1 and 2. Sama kayo ha! Kahit ayaw nyo nang kumanta, pilitin nyo. Excused naman kayo sa class, ayaw nyo ba nun?
Congrats dun sa mga 3J na nasa 4G, 4H, at 4J - congrats pumasok kayo (tayo) sa Songfest! Sayang, tanggal tayo... Sina Gino lang ang pumasok sa finals. Congrats for winning, 4H!
Nakakamiss na 3J sobra. Meron bang may balita kay Miss Claudio? Haven't heard from her... Kamusta na kaya siya sa Texas? Haha, mga am-boys na sinasabihan niya ng "don't answer in chorus" ngayon! Sabi nya babalik siyang CSA para mag goodbye, di pala. Tampo tayo kay Miss Claudio... :-( Pero I'm sure na wherever she is right now, masaya siya (plus the $ diba?). Di bale, pagnagkita-kita tayo, palibre tayo sa kanya ng peanut butter sandwiches, o diba?
Pwede kayang magsuggest ng 3J retreat? Ulitin natin yung retreat! Ay... wag retreat! Mag beach or mag hiking nalang tayo! Fun diba? Libre naman ni Laisa eh, mayaman yun, sobra... sagot nya kayo!
And si Kevin pala! He's back! Anong section nya ulit? Si Anna nakikita ko sa CSA bumabalik siya once in a while a... Oliver! Magpakita ka sakin! Waah! Oyp, 3J... Meron sa inyong mga i-snub-ero na. Meris! Mamansin ka nga! Hahaha, joke. Musa bobo.
Napanood nyo na Harry Potter? Lupit grabe, pero yung basilisk di nakakatakot. Mas astig yung animation dun sa may spider - mas realistic diba.
Ano na nga pala nangyari sa Thursday reunions natin?!? sTePh! Ikaw nagpasimuno nyan... what happened?

na kaya bagong buhay... magbago kayo! Oliver, bagong buhay ah? Aral ka
