On May 14th 2002 at 12 noon my husband arrived into town from a bussiness trip. When he arrived home he called me at work and we made plans for dinner; he mentioned he was going to take a friend to pick up a car from the mechanics. Around 5:40 that evenning I opened the door to my home and raced to the phone. He was calling from the road to let me know he was about 20 minutes away. Around 6:15 I opened the front door of the 4th floor apartment we lived in at the time and watched an EMS helicopter fly over our building toward the hospital. At around 6:40 I recieved a call from a Social Worker at the Trauma center of the local hospital
