Safety

There are numerous documents on the internet that detail in safety and thus we shall not go into great detail.  Common since is the most important, think at all times “Is there anyway at this present moment that what I am doing can harm me” if the answer is yes then revise the procedure you are doing.  Research from many different sources the substance you are dealing with.  There is a lot of false information on the internet which can get you killed.  A great example of such information is the Anarchist Cookbook and other similar documents.  The procedures in the document are either wrong or very dangerous.  For example there is a procedure for creating Potassium Chlorate based black powder (replacing the Potassium nitrate).  Such as composition is extremely dangerous.  Potassium Chlorate and Sulphur will create a highly unstable mix and many people have lost limbs or even there lives dealing with such compositions.  The writer of the ACB Kurt Saxon has lost much of his hand following the procedures outlined in his own document.  He was creating a substance called Armstrong’s mix, a mix between Potassium Chlorate and Red Phosphorus, possibly the most unstable Low Explosive documented.  He was stirring the powder dry in a bowl when it went off.  Be careful and learn from others mistakes, this is a dangerous hobby and you must accept the risk you are undertaking.  If something happens, it’s your fault.
