Methyl Ethel Ketone Peroxide (MEKP)

Another primary explosive of the peroxide family.  It’s similar in production and power to Acetone Peroxide however in most cases MEKP will be encountered as an oily liquid.  Much more stable then AP it is often a preferred primary explosive, of the peroxides anyway.  From experience MEKP will change with age to the crystalline isomer.  This transformation takes around 2 months and leaves the explosive more unstable (solids can take less physical stress then a liquid).  However it should be noted that you should never store any primary explosive for a period of time.
