Black Powder

Black Powder was first created by the Chinese a long time ago and changed the way we fight wars.  Not used any more in combat it is still used extensively in pyrotechnics.  Black powder is used as a rocket fuel, burst charge, lift charge and many other things.  Producing good quality BP can be achieved at home but the products must be very very fine before the procedure is followed.  In firecrackers it often produces a low deep boom.  When buying BP there are many grades.  The more Fs the finer.  The major draw back with BP is it can be ignited with static electricity.  Other then that it is very stable and very good low order explosive.
