Fun Facts No One Cares About!

F.O.B.s You will hear this where ever you meet island people. Some might say its cruel or whatever, but its common among the younger generation. Meaning Fresh Off ta Boat. When you hear someone "fob out" its common for the children or teenagers and even some adults join together and laugh. To fob out is to miss use the English language. Or jus totally screwing up the pronunciation. Like instead of saying "Just relax," one might say "just relaCK!" I have to admit that I myself laugh at such things. A Fob might also be one who just uses words or styles that are so from far back that they look outlandish among the "state" raised kids.

HATERS  Its a silent yet notorious fact that when Samoan kids raised in the states visit back home, especially the young ladies, who will get jumped when back home. It seems there is a jealousy between the two kinds, but in the end, we all drink the same coconut milk from the same trees. E aiga pe a po! Meaning, We all family by night.

RESPECT Being raised up in a society where respect is value like gold, we wonder at how some cultures have children running the homes and lives of adults. Majority of all Samoan kids know what respect is. Whether they choose to follow the truth is totally upon them. We place our elders and parents high up there. We don't believe in back-talk and always being second to them. We are here to serve them for what they have done for us, has almost put us in eternal debt, but we pay them out of love.

Manu Samoa Squad 2004

25 May 2004

As intended by the Coach for the people themselves to witness the best of Samoan players who are willing with all their hearts to wear the Jersey and take the Manu Samoa to another level.

After intense trials last Wednesday and Saturday, coach Michael Jones and his management team picked their best Squad for this Saturday's clash against Tonga at Apia Park. This will be an important match as it is the first for the new coach and management Team and also the only game that will be played here in Samoa this year.
