Hockey
I've been playing hockey since I was in 3rd grade, and I started at the Boys and Girls Club. Soon, I moved over to the Wayne Gretzky Roller Hockey Center (actually, it's not called that anymore, but I don't know what the name is at the moment) in Irvine, CA. Now I play on my High School Varsity for which I got a Varsity letter (the first person in my family to do so) team and a travel team called Gretzky Mission Revolution which is sponsored by in my opinion the best roller hockey gear made, Mission.
Here is a picture of me playing for my High School Varsity team against Mater Dai earlier this year.

My favorite NHL hockey team has always been the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and this year my patience with their previously lackluster efforts has paid off, as they eliminated the defending Stanley Cup Champions Detroit Red Wings in a four game sweep, beat the first place Dallas Stars in 6 games, and now are one game away from beating the Minnesota Wild to advance for the first time in ther 10 year history to the Stanley Cup Finals. The superb play of goaltender J.S. Giguere has been pivotal for the Ducks playoff run, and he won the Conn Smythe Trophy for MVP of the playoffs. Unfortunately, they were beaten in Game 7 of the Finals. It was a great series to watch, and something I will never forget. I have met many Ducks players, but my favorite has been Ted Drury because he went to my church before he got traded, and we still keep in touch via e-mail and letters.
Here's a picture of me and Ted.
