What is Integrated Physics and Chemistry?
IPC is simply Physics and Chemistry rolled into one! We will start off with a general introduction to science: how scientists go about solving problems using a process called the scientific method. Later on we will discuss the key concepts in physics, such as motion, forces, energy, heat, electricity, waves, and more. If that sounds like a lot, beleive me, it is. And that's just the first half!
In the second nine weeks we will delve into chemistry. This means learning about matter, the stuff that everything is made up of. We will learn about atoms, molecules, and the periodic table, along with plenty of solution chemistry and acids and bases.
Scared? Don't be! It sounds hard now, but we'll go through it one step at a time, and by May you'll be a science pro. (Just be sure to get help when you need it!)
