                                      GOING WITHIN

Close your eyes (take off your glasses if you wear them). Keep your face composed and your spine straight.
Take 3 deep breaths.
Bring both your eyes to focus on your third eye and rest there.
Stay this way for 3-5 minutes.

                                     EGO     EXERCISE

One of the greatest hurdles to cross is the hurdle of one's own ego. In order to make it easier to do this, the constant practice of this exer-cise is vital. HONESTY IS OF VITAL IMPORTANCE DURING THIS EXERCISE.

At the end of each day, take a few moments to be completely alone in order to recall and review all that you have said and done through the day. Start reviewing yourself from the moment you awoke till the end of the day. Do not be in a hurry, and remember to give due importance to the thoughts that have crossed your mind during the day.

Take each smallest word, action or thought and review it again in the light of your ego. Honestly and fearlessly try to pinpoint to yourself the number of times you said or did or thought something out of your ego.

Do not be disheartened by the number of times your ego has got the better of you. The more honest you are the more you will be able to see the occasions when you fell prey to your ego.

On doing this repeatedly and on a daily basis, very soon you will be able to 'catch' yourself as soon as your ego comes in to any situation and be able to stop yourself at once.

                                     HURT    EXERCISE

There are several instances in our life, since childhood, when we have been hurt or angered by the words or actions of another, but unable to reveal our feelings. These unspoken and unexpressed emotions stay within us and build up into toxins slowly poisoning our true selves.

In order to grow and evolve, it is essential to remove these toxins from within us so that there is place for love. This exercise needs to done over a very long time as deep pent-up emotions do not come up readily nor do they leave us easily.

This exercise must be done daily when you are completely alone.

Take a pen and paper and begin to write the names of all those who have hurt you or angered you. The persons appearing on this list may be dead or alive.

Let your memory go as far back as possible.

It is important not to ignore any occasion....do not consider it to be too trivial and unworthy of your attention. Remember if you can still recall it, it is important to be dealt with.

Let your list be as long as it gets. . . .there are no limits.

You may wish to go back over your list again and again and keep adding names, from the past or the present as they occur to you.

Now sit with your list and take the first name that you have written. Recall all the times that this person has hurt you, feeling all the old emotions completely.  Visualize the person sitting before you.  You now have the opportunity to tell the person all that you wanted to say but couldn't. You may wish to hit the person.. .take a pillow and hit the 'person' as much as you desire. Do this as long as you want and for as many days as you want.

Finally when you feel no ill-will against this person, it is time to move on to the second person. Before you move on, tell the first person 'I forgive you for all that you have done to me and you forgive me for all that I have done to you , intentionally or unintentionally.' Then scratch off the name from your list.

DO REMEMBER   that names of your close family, relatives and friends will keep coming back on to your list.  In this way the list never really ends, but you are able to work out your hurt quickly and easily, before they turn into further toxins.

                                    Exercise to let go of Fear

Today I wish to talk to you all about fear., but this talk is specially for this child (Yezad). Child, you have a lot of fear in you. I want you to take your fear and cradle it and then hand it over to us for adoption. Binding yourself and chanting prayers are all crutches for you.

I want you to look up at our Lord and let go. When I say let go, I mean let go of your fear...fear of not having money, having god, not having god, everything. If your child is sick ..let go ,if you have no money .let go,   if you lose your loved one ..let go.

Only then can you be free of fear. All of you take your fear, bundle it and place it at the feet of our Lord. Do not use crutches, just let go. Repeat after me "Lord, I collect all my fears and place them at your feet. I command you, oh Lord, to accept it and make me free from fear, now and forever."    Your prayer has been answered.
