2.18.03 - this will probably be the last update on this website. a brand new website is in the works thanks to the amazing mr robert mcfeters at watch you burn designs. the new domain name will be www.intothemoat.com and you can check out the intro there right now. thats right, we are moving up in the world with our dotcom. penis butt cocks.
2.09.03 - naples was awesome. thank you to all the kids that came out again that saw us the first time we played there, and to all the other kids that had not seen us, but took a chance and watched us play. perhaps we can get back over there again soon. today we ordered stickers so we should get them soon. we also should be signing to a label within the next couple weeks so hopefully it will only be another month or so before our record is ready to distribute.
2.1.03 - today is a sad day. the space shuttle columbia exploded over texas with seven people in it. let us hope the space program can prevent such events in the future. last night's show was amazing. close to two-hundred kids going insane for us the whole time is a great feeling. also, sorry to the guy that got knocked unconcious during our set. a few more shows have been added to the performances page. there has been a lot of talk about a tour of the east coast this summer so be on the lookout for that.
1.26.03 - i have added a couple shows to the performances page, including one in naples. this time the show will actually happen, so everyone that saw us the first time should come hang out with us again.
1.19.03 - today was quite eventful. i have never been more tired but it was worth it. we got a surprisingly good response at the jcc considering we were the only metal band there, and the show at club Q was good as well. misery signals are an amazing band and really nice guys, so check them out on mp3.com if you have not heard them yet. it looks like we will be heading back over to naples in february so i look forward to seeing some familiar faces.
1.08.03 - a few more shows have been added to the performances page, and i am currently working on some out of town shows so be on the lookout for that. we will be mailing out press kits to record labels within the week.
12.30.02 - the tour was pretty fun, i learned quite a bit and gained some good experience. we have two shows coming up, and it is about time considering we have been on a hiatus for about two months. you can email me for directions if you would like to go to the show at the JCC.
12.09.02 - i have submitted two new mp3s to mp3.com so they should be up within about 2 weeks. this will probably be the last update for a while because i will be playing drums on tour for remembering never. plus i have nothing to say.
11.30.02 - the show was good friday. for the first time in a long time we do not have any shows scheduled. thats about it.
11.27.02 - our CD is done. i have a rough mix of two songs at the moment, but i have yet to get the final version of the CD. i suppose i will recieve it when jeremy gets back from his thanksgiving vacation. if you would like to hear the two songs i have, email me or IM me and i will send them to you.
11.24.02 - everything is done except for the bass guitar. mean pete came in today and did some vocals for us. then we left jeremy to do some editing while we all went to hang out. tomorrow should be the final day of actual recording. on a semi-related note, i will be filling in on drums on a tour of the east coast for remembering never in december. so if you are in the area of one of our stops, come check it out. i will have some of our samplers to give away.
11.23.02 - tonight we finished up all guitar tracks, and earl started on his vocals. tomorrow hon hon cannot come in so earl is going to finish his vocals and jeremy is going to do some editing. hon hon will come in to finish bass on monday.
11.22.02 - kit's guitar parts are all done and steve's are about halfway through. tomorrow we are going in a little bit later than we have been because jeremy has some prior engagements, but we are going to be able to stay later. hopefully we can finish up guitar and bass tomorrow.
11.21.02 - we are way ahead of schedule. today i finished all of my drum tracks and they sound very good if i do say so myself. kit also finished three songs today, so he is halfway done. tomorrow we are going back to finish kit's parts and hopefully steve's as well.
11.20.02 - i decided that i will give a day to day update of our recording progress. today i went into the studio to get the drum sound and i am going back in tomorrow to start tracking. the drums alone sound amazing so far.

11.10.02 - last night we played for the first time at the alley in miami, and it turned out to be one of our favorite venues, even though our sampler was apperantly stolen. if anyone has any information on this, please email steven at nightscry@hotmail.com because we would like it back. unfortunately, we went on last and not too many people stayed, but thanks to those who did, and to whomever bought stuff from us. hopefully we will see you when we play with shai hulud on tuesday.
11.07.02 - i know it is a little out of date now, but our last trip to naples was so fun that i thought it would be cool to share it with you. visit the biography page to see a detailed account, but be forewarned: we are really stupid. i spoke with jeremy staska tonight, and everything is still set for us to head into studio 13 (poison the well, until the end) on november 20. we have a brand new song to debut on saturday at the alley, so everyone come out and let us know what you think of it.
10.29.02 - well the new grand theft auto:vice city game came out today and i swear it will be the downfall of this band. we were supposed to practice today, but i cancelled it to play the game for 9 hours straight. you are lucky you're even getting an update.
10.26.02 - we have not been having much luck with shows lately. i do not think i will be personally booking shows at club Q anymore. last night we had more people at the show than at the show i booked for my other band last week, yet last week we got money, and last night the owner claimed we did not make enough. therefore, we are out 100 dollars which we fronted for the show. i am just glad kumite' cancelled. it would have sucked very hard to not have been able to pay them after having come all the way down from gainesville.
10.20.02 - unfortunately,the show in naples got cancelled. however, it was not a total wasted trip considering we had fun just hanging out and acting stupid as always. although we did kind of miss grand theft auto.
10.13.02 - we have been added to play eulogy fest amongst many other great bands. check out the performances page.
10.09.02 - we have another show, in miami this time. last time we played down there was gorefest, so everyone come out and show us what you're made of.
9.30.02 - we have been added to play on the same bill with some of our favorite bands on november 12th at the culture room. be sure to get there early to check us out. talk to you soon.
9.26.02 - there are plenty of new additions to the site. we're trying to save up money for the new recording so if anyone wants a shirt, you should get it before november 20th to help us out in that area. our show on october 25th is going to be a halloween show, so wear your costumes.

9.06.02 - there are eight new pictures, and two new song lyrics. a new show for october is currently being set up. we are officially scheduled to go into the studio again november twentieth.
9.02.02 - thank you to everyone that came out to the show friday. we have been added to play with death metal legends "mortician" on sunday, september 22nd at the culture room. we will be going on at 7:30. it looks like we will be able to get into studio 13 to record a new ep sometime in december. i will keep you posted on that.

8.18.02 - we ended up only playing one show, in tampa last night. thank you to tyranny of shaw for playing with us. soothsayer, we missed you guys...sorry you couldn't make it. the trip was very "eventful", and the show was fun and we hope to do some more out of town shows soon.

7.31.02 - ok our recording is officially done and it has been submitted to mp3.com so it should be up within the next several days. our mini tour with tyranny of shaw and the soothsayer is currently being booked for august 16th, 17th, and 18th. we will probably be hitting sarasota, tampa, and gainesville, but i will keep you posted on that for sure. there are pictures of the shirts in the merchandise section.
7.28.02 - the show friday was pretty good. not as many kids as expected, but still fun. the shirts look nice and we will have pictures up on the merchandise page soon. the new recording is almost done and will be up on mp3.com as soon as it is.
7.23.02 - yet another venue we can no longer play. i don't know whose idea it was to get some unorganized girl to replace the old promoter at the skatepark adam, but it wasn't a good one. he was an awesome guy. anyway, we ended up not playing. friday will be much better.
7.23.02 - we have another show on august thirtieth. check the shows page. we are currently in the process of recording the golden vile and century one. we have been encountering trouble with a guitar sound but hopefully it will be finished soon. new shirts should be done by tomorrow. we will be selling them at the curl up and die show friday.
