The Assurance
We Have In Jesus

The steps of a good mad are ordered by the Lord: he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. Psalm 37:23, 24

We are always talking about how we wish we knew what to do. Most of the time we ponder what action to take next so much we end up doing nothing just to avoid failure.

Christians we have to know that as long as we follow the word of God, our steps are ordered of the Lord.

God is our Father. Like any good Father he will hold us up by the hand as he leads us through the scriptures. He will lead us and guide us with each step we take because we are leaning on him.

Yes. Even when we make mistakes, go down the wrong path, say and do the wrong things God will hold us up again.

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. Psalm 37:19

You have to know that no matter what you go through as long as you repent sincerely you don’t have to be ashamed. You can go through anything, be anyone, and still come to Christ holding your head up because of the awesomeness of the love of God.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38. 39

Our assurance in Christ is that no matter what we face or do as long as we can go to God through Jesus Christ with a heart of repentance we don’t have to live in utter shame. We can go on knowing that through Christ we are more than conquerors. That God loves us no matter who we are or what we’ve been through.

Nothing shall separate us from the love of God. That is our assurance in Jesus!
