Cry Baby Bridge

The Story: Podunk is an old town right by Bargersville. It's a really weird and freaky place that near-city teens go to. There's a bridge that if you drive on to & then stop & turn off your headlights, radio, and don't talk then you can see a baby crawl across the road. You can also hear it crying or laughing sometimes.

We went to the Cry Baby Bridge in Podunk. (Bargersville, Indiana) We went on August 13, 2004.(It was a Friday the 13th.) We had been down to Podunk. a few times before, but didn't know about the bridge until we saw it on your website. So we went down there around 11 o'clock that night. There were about 11 of us in a van, and we almost missed the bridge.( Come to find out we had driven past it a few times, and we were about to leave because we couldn't find it.) So we finally found it and just driving up to the bridge was freaky enough. So we parked on the bridge and did everything that we were supposed to, but didn't see anything. My one friend said that she was having a really weird feeling so we left and then returned a few minutes later. My cousin and my husband got out and were taking pictures, but didn't really see anything. So we ended up leaving, while driving down the road my friend was still having this weird feeling. So we were taking pictures of her, we had to hold up a flashlight to take the picture. When the flashlight shown on one of the windows, we could see little handprints all over the window!! It really scared us, so we tried to take pictures of the handprints, but they wouldn't show up on the camera. The next day or so my grandmother was driving the van and was stopped at an intersection and there was no one in the van, and no one outside of the van and she heard someone knock on the window. Another Investigation at Cry Baby Bridge

One night my boyfriend, friend, mom, and one of her friends decided to go out to all three locations on main street.. First we went to main street grave yard.  We heard that the only time you will see anything back there is if you see a dog hanging from the tree out front by the boulders.  Well we didn't so we decided to still go in.  You have to park out front and then walk in.  We we walking around looking at all the 1800 headstones when we heard something like moaning. Then we saw like a black object. So we didn't mess around we got back to the car quick..  My boyfriend hurried and turned on the inside lights of the car to feel safe. When he did that I looked over at my friend her eyes were reddish and her hair was sticking straight up it was attached to the roof of my boy friends car.. Then as we decided to go back over the cry baby bridge. When we did the car died...great the crying got louder the bullfrogs one or the other.  Then it finally started ... we saw headlights coming our way I thought great someone called the police because your not suppose to got back in the grave yard.. But, anyways we started to go and the lights were right in front of us and getting closer we thought they were going to hit us then all of a sudden it disappears.  I guess the church on the corner something about if you go out that way there is a guy in a truck looking for his bride and he will chase you.  I know after that night we all thought that they were all stories but, I'll tell you I've never been back out there at night.  People say if want to believe you hear and see things.  But there was to much in one night and if you would have see my friend sitting in that back seat you would believe to.
