American Beauty
Coach has long been an American luxury goods staple. Originally a line of classic leather bags and goods that were known for their virtual indestructability and exquisite craftsmanship, the line as, as you will see, reinvented itself to adapt to the new century. During the time of these vintage bags, a lifetime guarantee was offered: one had only to bring it into any Coach shop in the world, and it would be repaired.
Experimentation
During the 90s, Coach left its classic lines and began experimenting with colors, shapes, and materials. Note the then-cool chartreuse, the then-chic short handle, and the limited edition neoprene bag.
Newest, Lastest, Chicest
In the first couple of years of the 21st century, Coach completely transformed itself. Rumors are circulating that their original bags were so hardy that women had little need to keep on buying from the company. Today, Coach changes dramatically from season to season, has adapted different signature looks, including a logo print, and radically alters its designs. The examples here show a logo print, a wristlet, and a 2002 winter signature plaid.
